Hello guys. Today, I would like to suggest something that could actually be inconsistency-reducing. It is ConsistentButtons (codename!) - basically conversion of old buttons to WDS .wds-button
and .wds-button-group
- something like ConsistentModules or FandomizedToggles, but for buttons.
Let me explain this script. It will change old .button
classes to .wds-button
, but - instead of using .wds-is-squished
- it will add its own .wds-is-tiny
clss with padding: 3px 7px;
, where standard .wds-button
s will be too big, for example in RC fieldset.
- Additional Notes
- This script should change colors of re-created buttons using Theme Designer's SASS params instead of default, light-blue theme.
- Re-created buttons should keep their inline-styling - some users use
.button
in their signatures - we don't want to break their signatures, right? ;) - I know about FandomizedButtons or ModernButtons, but CSS customization have a lot of limitations
and somebody have to "fix" stylesheet when FANDOM change buttons' appearance.
