Based on a script written by Splarka on Wikipedia, this code has been rewritten to use jQuery by Grunny and works in both Wikia and Monobook skins. A newer version was made by Ozuzanna that features more functionality than the original.

The option to use the Batch Delete script will appear under your "My Tools" list.

In order to delete a batch of pages, just add the page names (not page URLs) in the form, each on a new line, and proceed to delete them with a set reason. The script will stop when it reaches an empty line, and it can be terminated early by blanking the list of pages remaining to be deleted.

Version 2 features the ability to protect the pages after deletion (this is optional), as well as loading from a modal on any page with the option to modify the rate at which it deletes/protects. If you'd like to modify the default rate of one delete every 1000 milliseconds (1 second), add the config batchDeleteDelay before importing the script with your own number (in milliseconds) instead. For example, using:

batchDeleteDelay = 100;

will lower the delete rate to 0.1 second.

This version also enables the user to grab a whole category's contents and puts them into the text area ready for deletion. Note that the script will only load if the user has access to the delete right (content moderator, administrator, VSTF, staff or helper). Deleting Message Walls and threads is possible, however, restoring them properly isn't possible.

importArticles — Best Practices for installing JavaScript on Fandom
The importArticles statement is designed to combine multiple HTTP requests into a single data transfer, allowing multiple scripts to load and execute faster. If you've been installing several different scripts, your JavaScript file has probably accumulated unnecessary import statements. Click "Expand" to learn how to efficiently batch import scripts to speed up performance and make your code look cleaner. One other approach is by using the MediaWiki:ImportJS.
If your JavaScript file has several lines of code that say importScript, importScriptPage, or importArticles, you may be able to combine them! By batch importing a collection of scripts with a single import, your JavaScript code will load faster and look cleaner. Consider the example below. On the left is an example of what your JavaScript file might currently look like. On the right is how you could improve that code.

importScriptPage('page1.js', 'wikiname');
importScriptPage('page2.js', 'wikiname');
    type: 'script',
    articles: [
Note: In this example, pay close attention to the placement of commas and other punctuation. For people who aren't familiar with programming (and even those who are!), a common mistake when writing code is to accidentally delete, forget, or misplace critical symbols like commas or quotation marks. This can cause a syntax error that breaks the code. Carefully follow the convention shown here when using importArticles.
But there's much more to importArticles than just this! For more examples and advanced usage, see the help page at Help:Including additional JavaScript and CSS.

If you're already using importArticles(), you can import the script by adding the below to the article list. If you're not wanting to use the default rate of 1000ms, you need to add the config above the importArticles statement as shown in the installation.
